I obviously can’t be 100% sure but i have a very good feeling about this Tuesday as some engineering students got rejected last week. good luck! what major did you apply for?

I though they did all of the COE in one Tuesday

I’m on some discord servers and 2 got rejected last week but that’s probably because they were missing some of the required classes so their applications got screened out early in the process

I though since admissions decisions are made by the specific schools, they would actually wait before all the applications are scrutinized. I guess I am wrong

hmm that might be true who knows but they’ve been releasing CAS decisions by waves so idk, since Cornell is known for rolling admission

Based on last year’s posts, CoE will call admitted students on the Monday or Thursday before the Tuesday they release their decisions. Maybe we can expect to receive a call tomorrow?

anyone else a gov major? I see two rejections n and acceptance from gov majors earlier in the chat but I didn’t hear back from them. no email or portal. Should I be worried?

if it’s a required course then it could definitely be a problem but if it’s recommended I wouldn’t worry too much

Required could be an issue since dyson is competitive. Also possible you could take it over the summer if they decide you’re what they’re looking for. Hard to know.

Do all applications make it to the addmission committee? Cus i heard some don’t and they get rejected by the scanners or the step before the addmission committee. If anyone knows anything pls lmk. Thanks
