Cornell Transfers!

Hey everyone,

I know there are quite a few of us lookin to transfer into the Big Red and I thought I'd just start a thread to see where everyone is from and how they're doing in the process.

I'm a freshman at Boston College looking to study English and German at Cornell. Excited for May to see what happens!

I'm a freshman at U of Michigan. I want to study religion, international relations and peace studies. I am really really anxious!!!

cornell's transfer rates are unbelievable high....for an ivy that is

You guys have a good shot as long as you put in a decent amount into the application.

best of luck

the transfer rates are really high for some of the schools, especially for the contract colleges, but for Arts and Sciences (which is what I am applying to) the acceptance rate is around 8%...not very high at all

Im currently a freshmen from Maine, I hope to be studying ILR at Cornell next year Knocks on wood

I applied for Anthropology.

i applied for hotel

Applied for Int'l Agriculture and Rural Development.

haha Kel, I'm a freshman at Boston University also looking to study English (though not German, yet -- possibly French or Latin :P). 8%'s a terrifically frightening rate, and you BCers are (contrary to popular opinion over here) a solid bunch. Best of luck to you and all. :P

I'm a freshman at NYU, looking to study biochem in CALS.
