****Cornell University Class of 2021 Regular Decision Thread****

@Travisafb; if you don’t mind me asking of course, what did you get on your SAT subject test? I didn’t do fantastic and I’m worried it might cloud my other great statistics…

Low 500’s ;(

@Travisafb Which subjects did you take if you don’t mind me asking?

@allima I received a likely letter yesterday but no email. Maybe an anomaly but who knows.

@angelkitty Lit and Bio

Hey if anyone is in the Cornell FB page and you know the groupme link, could you please post it? Thanks!!

Nobody has received actual decisions from CALS yet, right?

Is there anyone who is also directed to Oracle PeopleSoft site when trying to check financial status?

no email/letter for me - still waiting ~O)

so likely letters came out yesterday too? huh i guess they are coming out at random

@blue221 this happened several time in my son’s portal, but I think it’s just an error. Just going back to the original page and trying again gets to the right list so it seems like a fluke…?

If I’m Hispanic, applied for Engineering, and haven’t gotten a likely letter, does that mean I’m likely getting rejected?

^ I have the same question

^^^ same question too , though I applied for physics

^^^ Same question. Son applied for Business but nothing has come from the school. Are “likely” letters coming recently, in which case they could still be in the mail, or did only top candidates maybe get them?

Being Hispanic is not enough to get a likely letter I think. I think the people who got it are mainly URMs at the top of the URM pool and some top female engineers. No one should expect to get a likely letter.

applied to CAS for comparative lit. its a long shot, but I figured why not?

@momof3co ok yeah I tried it that way and it works… very strange though

I’m a URM and Gay. I applied to the College of Arts and Sciences as. Biology and Society Major, should I be worried for not getting a likely letter?

Is biology and Society a really competitive major? Sorry, First generation. Lol
