To the person asking about biology and society: if I remember correctly, it’s not super impacted. The problem comes about when you have to take the required courses for it because many of them overlap with bio, bioE, etc. Those entry level biology classes can have 400+ students, and Biology and Society majors have to take those classes
Also, well it is a “STEM” major, it also emphasizes social sciences I think. No program at Cornell will be too impacted, because they have the resources for all their students.
The interview obviously doesn’t hold any weight… not trying to be smug, but I had a crazy week with several college interviews and forgot to show up to my Cornell interview. I apologized profusely and rescheduled. It was definitely awkward. To my surprise, I received a likely letter and a post mail acceptance letter this past week.
international candidate, applied to Business – Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management, to the major Applied Economics and Management. i did not send in a resume… and just noticed it was required. is this bad?
We are in CO and my son wasn’t contacted for an interview. Do they try to interview all applicants like other schools do? Or is it only if they have alumni in the specific area? (concerned it means something otherwise)
