****Cornell University Class of 2021 Regular Decision Thread****

@KaleSeed No I applied for Comp Sci in CAS, I ended up writing more about math than comp sci in my essay though lmao so not really sure what to think. Hopefully the fact that they’re both in the same school and are closely related subjects didn’t hurt me too much…

@ivydreamer2021 I applied to food science in CALS, and I’m OOS. I wrote about all the food-related activities I’m involved in, and how I developed my interest in food and entrepreneurship. I wish everyone the best (:

I’m OOS too. I hope our chances are still decent even though we live OOS

Do you have any update on financial To Do list? Mine is still “by Nov. 2018”

All my to do list page says is:

“No current to do item information found.”

When I try to view my financial aid decision (obviously unavailable until after the 30th), I get “2018 Cornell University Inquiry access denied.”

Is anyone seeing anything different on these pages?

My son’s says 2/15/17

@firstpet mine says February 2018

My son’s doesn’t have a date? The to do list page just says “No current to do item information found” and I don’t see any link to “view my financial aid decision” as mentioned above.

@momof3co u probably already uploaded the required documents then

@tbh1234 oh that’s great news then, ha

@momof3co FYI, the view financial aid decision link is on a separate page (here: https://finaid.cornell.edu/view-financial-aid-decision-0) and is separate from checking your financial aid to do list; sorry if I wasn’t clear about that.

I didn’t do IDOC, and Cornell didn’t email me! Does that mean I didn’t get in ):

@KaleSeed see that’s what I’m worried about! I never got an email about some of my missing documents like other people did so now i’m all paranoid that I didn’t get in

I’m worried that Cornell didn’t receive all of my scores because recently another school had a problem with getting some of my scores. I would hope that they would’ve contacted my GC or me if there was something missing but they didn’t. Would it be bad to call admissions tomorrow, so close to the decision release date?

if you go to your application status check it will tell u what materials they have received and whether or not they received your scores @hopelessopus12

what does “initiated” mean by the status of my financial aid?

Yep, there’s a check next to ACT scores but it doesn’t say exactly how many have been received… I’m probably overthinking this but I just don’t want to be rejected for something so stupid.

Is everyone getting access denied when try to access scholar’s link?

on a note guys: I was accepted via LL and never got an email about a missing FA document–I only noticed when I checked my FA checklist to see if they had already uploaded my aid.

How hard is it to get into math in CALS?
