@julia115 The same thing happened to me - ED to SHA, was deferred and haven’t heard anything since. I was hoping for news earlier but I guess they’re just waiting until the 30th to let some of us know.

Got the email that says decisions come out Thursday!
After posting information about the Common Data Set for the class of 2020, I found additional information about the class of 2020 and 2021. My son is applying to the Computer Science in Cornell Engineering, and I found a class profile page which provides more detail than the Common Data Set for the 2020 engineering class: https://www.engineering.cornell.edu/admissions/undergraduate/firstyear/class_profiles.cfm.
As you can see from this page, the mid-50% SAT Math range for admitted engineering students in the class of 2020 was 740 to 800 and the mid-50% Verbal range admitted students was 680 to 760. So it appears to me that at least 25% of the engineering class of 2020 had perfect 800 scores in math! Here is information about the class of 2021 for Cornell and other schools I had not seen elsewhere: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/grade-point/wp/2017/01/13/college-admission-stats-class-of-2021/?utm_term=.317052148c44. According to the Common Data set, there were 44,965 applications for the class of 2020. And according to the Washington Post article, Cornell received 47,031 total applications for the class of 2021, 1,396 ED applicants were offered admission, and the target class size is 3,275. How can Cornell possibly review 47,031 applications?

If I sent Cornell my old SAT score (on 2400), do they consider the writing score? How exactly does it work???
