Anyone else accepted and attending through first year spring admission?
as far as the free shirt goes… after we submit email address are we supposed to get confirmation email?

I got the transfer option and I’m thankful! HOWEVER, oh how I would’ve loved to be able to experience my full four years at Cornell. 
I wonder what other Cornell transfer students’ experiences have been like attending one year “later” than the rest?

@mndmff GT students cannot appeal for a freshman fall spot. The offer is for entry sophomore fall. As a GT student waiting on my decision, I would say that it’s only marginally better than the waitlist. I’ve been waiting a year and a half for a “final” decision from Cornell and it’s extremely irritating at times. Waitlist candidates will at least find out their final status at Cornell before beginning their freshman year. There are a lot of pros and cons to the GT offer, I’d encourage you to peruse past GT threads to see what others have said about it.

Was expecting a rejection, but I got waitlisted for ILR

3.4 GPA
27 ACT composite, 30-Eng, 29-Reading, 27-Science + Writing & 23-Math
Boat load of extra curriculars + community service, pretty consistent & 4 college prep camps
Pretty good rec letters + solid essay
I had been receiving a lot letters from Cornell during the summer, specifically ILR, but i know it doesn’t really matter because they send those to everyone.
So far I’ve been accepted to 6 HBCUs and St. Johns, but got rejected from Penn, UCLA, GW, Duke, UNC, and a few others, so even though Im prob not getting off the waitlist it still came as a shock considering my stats lol
When does finaid package for cornell come out. Next week? Early april?
