Found out early due to the Diversity Hosting Visitation letter that came in
Well-rounded through being ranked 8th in my graduating class, to being involved in over 6 clubs and 2 sports.
Keep your head up guys, whether accepted or not, God has a plan for you all.
@kit4kat@nikkit21 College admissions is such a mysterious process. It shows that all these schools are world-class, and they ultimately have to right to admit or reject you
Got my financial award, whopping $2000.00 will be appealing. Cannot pay $69k out of pocket. Very disappointed but not giving up my spot there just yet!
Ugh- so today, for the first time, Cornell says they don’t have some forms from my child’s non-custodial parent. Forms which have been on IDOC since Feb. 12 (according to IDOC and the other colleges who had no trouble using those W2s. Man, we don’t have much time to decide on a college and not having a financial aid package makes it tough. We have them from all the other schools. Has anyone else had this trouble?
@sursumcorda I got the same email! It asked for my W2’s since I am a student non-filer, but I uploaded them in February already. It says “received” on the IDOC so i’m confused…
Anyone else receive an email about being a Meinig Family National Scholar? Seems like an amazing opportunity! Kind of made up for the anger I had towards the financial aid missing documents email, haha.
important question for ILR and SHA applicants (for future readers)… we know that Cornell sent admit letters to SOME ILR and SHA applicants a few weeks ago. The question is whether anyone who did NOT receive an early letter was actually admitted on Ivy day, or were the only letters on Ivy Day for those two schools either for spring admit, GT, waitlist, or rejection. Did anyone here receive an acceptance to ILR or SHA on Ivy Day or can anyone confirm a fall acceptance on Ivy Day for one of those schools?
