@realperson2990 @URasSMART @lunamorti go need to access your IDOC account - you’ll see the code for cornell listed next to outstanding or additional requested info.
I got into HumEc yesterday! Is there a GroupMe for Cornell '21 or for HumEc? If someone knows that there is and they’re on the chat, please message me so you can add me! Thanks!
@MomEof3 Except that in our case, the IDOC account says everything was turned in in early February and now Cornell says something is missing. Other colleges using IDOC had no problems with it. I think at least one other poster here on CC also said that IDOC says everything is turned in, and only Cornell says something is not turned in. In our case, IDOC literally has a bold message saying “All of your documents are complete” or something like that, and this has been true since long, long ago.
I understand the frustration because the Cornell email we got was generic and did not in anyway seem to be from someone who actually looked at our account and IDOC info and then sent a specific message with some details. Instead, on Friday afternoon months after the FA deadline, we got the first email at all, which was not personal but rather a form that doesn’t reflect the reality of IDOC forms and gives no indication of having even looked for the requested documents. My child responded in an email pointing out that IDOC says everything was in, but so far, nothing in reply from Cornell. Will have to call on Monday, but at this point, I am so done with this process. How can two other schools have used the IDOC documents without trouble but only Cornell say they are missing. It is too weird.
@sursumcorda
My situation with IDOC is exactly the same. I’ll be calling first thing Monday to try and get this cleared up.
@sursumcorda and @realperson2990 we are the same but there is a section on IDOC that says Cornell is requesting 3 forms - they are slightly different that our completed documents which were all completed and other ivy’s are satisfied so idk
is some gonna make a waitlist thread
Hi - Does anyone know if you are put on the ILR waitlist and wait it out and if a spot doesn’t open up are you automatically offered a guaranteed transfer option to Cornell? I read in the past that is what ILR did, but do they still in 2017?

Honestly didn’t think I would get in given my demographic. I think not applying to engineering helped a lot.

does anyone have any advice on UC Berkeley vs. Cornell for engineering?

@scarletwitchx if ur in CA then Berkeley is the way to go bec in-state tuition. Even if you’re not Berkeley beats Cornell Engineering simply by being in the capital of the tech industry! Silicon Valley
How about Cornell CALS vs Bates for Pre-vet?
