Cornell University Fall 2020 Transfer

My school Dean wrote a disciplinary letter and attached my complete part of the college report and the midterm I am missing one signature, email your professors and tell them that you really need their signatures before Friday

@DrewGonz19 I think they may start after the 15th. If you look at the portal, it says all materials are due by April 15th, so they may give time to students to submit stuff and then start looking. this is just my theory, I could be wrong.

Thank you so much, everyone!

My official college transcripts have still not been received according to my application checklist despite me sending them to common app and them receiving it in early february. I’ve now sent 3 emails to 2 different email addresses at cornell and have no response back and when I call the admissions office the lady just tells me to email them…as if I haven’t been doing that for weeks. I really don’t know what to do at this point

Send it electronically like I did

Are they taking unofficial transcripts?

Can you upload a scanned copy of your college transcript to the Common App portal and the Cornell applicant portal?

idk, i think common app only accepts official ones, and on the cornell portal in the upload drop down menu there’s no option for transcripts

I saw on the common app that cornell has extended their deadline to 4/10/20, however, I don’t see anything on the University’s website. Their phone is down, so I can’t call to confirm. Does anybody know if the extension is legit?

I have the same problem with you!! And I also sent four emails in total to 2 different email address. No one replies:(

You have to email your unofficial transcript to Cornell, and let them know the situation. I don’t understand why they are not answering your emails if they answer mine, make sure you all are emailing transfer@cornell.edu

Does anyone know if it is possible for the college official to email the College Report to Cornell? My registrar is unable to mail the report due to COVID-19. If so, do you know what email it should be sent to? Obviously it’s a time sensitive matter.

@blueki I also sent in my transcripts electronically. If you order them through your college’s student website it should redirect you to Parchment and they will send the official transcripts for a fee of $4.00 I believe. It’s super quick and on the Parchment website it tells you when the receiving University has downloaded the transcripts. If Cornell doesn’t update your portal within a week email them and they will update it within a day or two.

@dooleys yes, college official with access to your curriculum can fill out the form, scan it in and send it to: undergradapp@cornell.edu

You can also email them with any questions in regards to anything that has to do with your application. They usually respond within a business day. Good luck!

" You will hear from our office in mid-April on a rolling basis about your admission decision. " does that mean I will get decision back next week?

it seems that they advance our decision release date.

@Cornellian2025 did you get that information from the portal?

@dooleys so I asked the same thing to my advisor and he said that if you can’t get it they will not ask for it until after your decision if you get in. I had the same issue but my school was able to send it so I took care of it. He said it was recommended to get it in but I’m not sure if you 100% need it.

Cornell will not review applications without receiving the College Report. It says that in multiple places. I feel like what @kavan716 just described was about the mid-term report

@kavan716 yes, how bout u?
