Cornell University

What type of students get interviews? Borderline applicants? Also, what does it mean if you don't get an interview? Thanks in advance.

I think anybody who lives in the vicinity of a alumni willing to sacrifice time for it will get an interview. If you don't get one it's most likely because the interviewer can't fit everybody into the schedule.

Unless you're applying for architecture or hotel, in which you're screwed if you don't get an interview.

Well, I live in New York city. Most of my peers with similar statistics to mine have gotten interviews. Should I be worried?

bump (10 char)

i thought everyone applying for cornell gets interviews because they are required unless you took a summer program there lol

nvm for above, only applies to specific departments and majors =/
