Un-freakin-believable! GoBigRed!!!

D and some friends just snagged some tkts for Thursday’s game - what fun!

Wow. I would go up to Syracuse, but the cost of the tickets would probably cover a few semesters of tuition at Cornell.

Well, they were $70 - I guess they’re not seeing that Bway show this week…

Sweeeet 16!!

D just left (an hour or so ago) on a 7 day cruise w/ 4 other lovely Cornell ladies. They arrived on the boat hours before sailing, so they spent the time watching todays game. One of the ladies on the cruise, my D’s closest friend, is seeing (loose term for they are “exclusive”) one of the top performing players on the team. I’m pretty sure the ladies are equally or more excited about the game and team than the cruise!

Hell yeah !!!

Haha, I am a huge college basketball fan and feel like such a loser picking Cornell to lose against Wisconsin :(. My bracket is still doing surprisingly well though.

'Nova and Kansas lost and your bracket is “doing well?” I picked Cornell to win this one (always knew we matched up well against Temple and Wisconsin; I was fine with our 12 seed because of the matchups we got), but, after Pitt and Kansas losing, half of my Final Four is out. Go Duke! Despite having Kentucky going on to my final four, I’d be thrilled to see them fall to Big Red and bust my bracket.

Congrats Big Red!!!

If Cornell upsets Kentucky by some miracle of god, then they’ll have gone farther than any Ivy League team in the 64-team format!

Trust me. most folks in Mmemphis are rooting for Cornell, even if they don’t know where it is!!

I belieeeeve =D.

My bracket is still doing well because I had Ohio State in the final four instead of Kansas (I always thought they were fallible) and I had Nova losing in the 3rd round. My final four is Ohio State, Syracuse, Kentucky, and Baylor.

@memphismom: You know it! I live in memphis, and i’m going to be a student at cornell in the fall. So as you can see, i would love nothing more than to see cornell win thursday.

Good luck Cornell from all the ivy leaguers!

Go Big Red~!!!

this cornell-kentucky game has so many background stories that make it amazing…the obvious cinderella story, 12 seed vs. 1 seed…Ivy League vs. a power-six conference…one-and-dones vs. a team full of seniors…players who actually pay to go to college vs. players on John Calipari’s payroll…a school with actual academic standards vs. well, John Wall and Demarcus Cousins, c’mon…the abundance of White Guys That Can on Cornell’s team…the fact that the game’s so big, i’m even discussing it on THIS website…so even though i probably won’t end up going to Cornell next year, i plan on foregoing all normal weekend (no school for me on friday) activities at least until the game’s over, and i guarantee i’ll be rooting for Ryan Wittman, Jeff Foote, and co. as hard as i’ve ever rooted for any team in any sport…GO BIG RED!!!

^I’ll also be rooting for Cornell. I was really impressed with them earlier in the season when they almost pulled of an upset of Kansas. I put them in my Sweet 16 solely because of that performance. Their performances against Temple and Wisconsin also make me feel more confident that they could pull off an upset;

sorry you can’t join us in Memphis as we cheer on Cornell vs Calipari!!!

I gotta say I’m soooo excited for the game…people I know are probably tired of hearing me talk about it so I my comments are relegated to CC. I’ll be at the dome tomorrow (!!!) contributing my best loud voice and red Cornell apparel. I think I’m more thrilled than when I was accepted to the university.

Big bunch of Cornell fans here in Michigan! C.U. at the sports bar tonight!
