Cornell's Common App

As a transfer, I don't have to send in high school grades. Interesting....

Nevermind, it’s hidden in the school report application. How the hell am I supposed to get a high school counselor to talk about me - I’m a sophmore in college.

Cornell doesn’t require the secondary school report (for transfers). Many people seem to confuse this with the high school transcript. The secondary school report is a counselor’s personal evaluation of a student. The transcript only consists of your grades, and you most likely will not need to talk to your counselor to get a hold of one. Simply call your high school’s records office, and request a transcript.

Yes! Thank you! That was my concern because my guidance counselor from high school is long gone. I wasn’t sure what the heck I was going to do with that one…

Are you positive about this or should I confirm with CALS admissions?
