Penn, Cornell, Columbia secondary school report?

I just want to make sure that these schools don't require secondary school report. anyone knows?

Yeah, I think they do. Just check the respective websites where they list the components of a transfer app.

This is directly copied from the official web
[Penn Admissions: F.A.Q. for Transfer Admission to Penn](http://www.admissions.upenn.edu/applying/transferfaq.php)

A. To apply as a transfer student Penn requires:

Application forms located at The Common Application website, or at The Universal College Application website along with the University of Pennsylvania Application Supplement.

The Application includes two required essays and lists of your extra-curricular activities in both high school and college. The Application also includes the College Official’s Report demonstrating the student is in good academic and disciplinary standing at their current school.

The Penn Application Supplement includes the Form 4, the Mid-Term Grade Report for Transfer Students, which indicates current courses being taken during the Spring semester.

The SAT Reasoning Test. The ACT Test with Writing is also acceptable.

An official copy of your current college and all previous college transcripts.

An official copy of your high school transcript.

Two recommendations from current college professors.

it doesn’t state that Penn requires secondary school report here. help plz I am confused.

If it doesn’t say you need it, you don’t. I was confusing the SSR for your high school transcripts etc.

When in doubt, just call the admissions office and clarify which forms you need.

oooh i see. thanks for the clarification!

So what’s the final word on the three schools?

Penn doesn’t list the secondary school report as requirement, but it’s on their CommonApp under “School Forms” – same goes for Cornell – which makes me wonder if kids send them in.

If we lack a verdict, I’ll just call them up tomorrow.

i didn’t send cornell the secondary school report, only the school profile and my transcript. i called and asked

Thanks, ironicallyunsure. What is a school profile, though? Is the counselor supposed to attach that automatically?

it shows average gpas and test scores, things like that. i asked them to attach one cause i wasn’t sure if they did it automatically

what is the Secondary School Report and what makes it different from the transcript???

Your HS transcript contains a list of your classes and grades. Now take a look at the SS Final Report and see the additional information it asks for.

Closing old thread.
