Correct Choices?

Hey guys! I know IB isn't a big deal over the US, but I truly think that it's important admissions, I'd reaaly like to do something with Business/Economics and something sciency lol like a double major
Ib consists of picking out 6 subjects, and you get a total score out of 45.
My ideal IB choices, (I'm picking them next month) would be:
English A1 HL
Spanish HL (compulsory)
Maths SL
Business and Management HL
Computer Science HL
Chemistry SL
and an extra 7th subject could be either theater, french or economics.
There are basically two levels for each subject, HL (High Level) and SL (Standard Level).
Do you guys think these subjects are good for Yale?
Should I change stuff around?
Thanks for your help guyss!!

Be careful because the IB has changed this year, so this year’s IB year 2ers will probably not be able to help as much.

The only iffy subject I see is business and management. I was told that IB B&M is not always looked on with too much high regard, but that this is changing. Economics may be a good alternative, as there is some overlap between the courses and is often considered more challenging than B&M (at least among students who I know who take both.) Talk to your counselor about this.

As a final word of advice, don’t plan your class choices around Yale or some school you really want to go to. No matter how good your grades are now, I promise the IB will squeeze the life out of you at times. So, you need to pick classes you’re sure you like so that even at 3 in the morning, you’ll still get a kick out of what your doing. I’m serious, please don’t ignore this paragraph…Otherwise in a year and a half you’ll remember this and regret not having listened! :)

Good luck.

I know many regard B&M as weak but it’s the one subject that I really really like, so I’m kind of decided on that one… I could take econ as a 7th though
Thanx for your advice, I was just thinking that I shouldn’t fit the school, but the school should fit me, shouldn’t it?
Does Yale offer double majors? Or something similar?
