Correcting the FAFSA

<p>After trawling through the faqs on the FAFSA site, it seems there is conflicting information. I submitted my FAFSA today to 10 of the schools I'm applying to. However, there was a mistake on there, plus I still have one more school I need the FAFSA to be sent to.</p>

<li><p>How long until I can correct the FAFSA I submitted? Mine is currently "processing", whatever that means. Do I have to wait until it is finished processing until I can correct it, or can I correct and resubmit it now? About how long until it's processed?</p></li>
<li><p>When I submit my FAFSA to the 11th school, I'll just go ahead and submit the corrected one. I'm doing the correct thing, right?</p></li>

<p>You have to wait. I had this EXACT same problem (another school plus corrections). Did you use your pin for an electronic signature? If so, it won’t be long. I submitted on Saturday 1/23 and it was done “processing” on Monday or Tuesday.</p>
