<p>waitlisted to UCI cluster 4: life on the edge! anybody know the chances of getting off the waitlist and how many people are usually on it for each cluster?</p>

<p>Hi guys, i’m a junior and I applied to uci tissue and tumor bio! no response yet and it’s killing me…</p>
<p>I am a freshman applying to UCI… I didnt get an email and its killing me… but since im a freshman so my chances are probably rather slim</p>

<p>My son is a freshman and received an email today that he has been admitted to cluster 8 at UCI.</p>
<p>ugh why are some people getting notifications but most of us aren’t?</p>

I want to note that even though my son has been admitted to this program, he has been through a lot of rejections this year in other groups and programs but he keeps trying…</p>

<p>hahah i had some similar stats… im also taking alg 2 as a freshman and rest honors classes with a 4.0 gpa… and some ecs rather similar… but qualified for AIME through the AMC 10.</p>

<p>Thinking back to last year, I remember not all of them came out at the same time. Just wait and you will be notified. This stuff takes time.</p>
<p>Okay so, I guess people are receiving their notifications, I applied to UCI, didn’t receive any but the status still says “Under Review” Does that mean I got rejected?</p>
<p>NO def not! People receive notification at different times…and mine has been under review for the last month, so I’m pretty sure it doesn’t mean you’re rejected</p>
<p>Mine says under review still, but you should have gotten an email telling you if you got accepted or not</p>
<p>Actually, I believe only certain clusters were notified today, while clusters like Biomed is tomorrow. I called them :)</p>
