<p>Yeah, I applied to uci because I really was interested in the tumor bio cluster but oh well. The email I got said uci received over 700 applicants. too bad i’m a rising senior 
anyway for those of you who also didn’t get in, I hope you still have fun and productive summers :)</p>

<p>I’m pretty disappointed that I didn’t get into Stanford EPGY. I’m really hoping I get into COSMOS. Tomorrow is decision day!</p>

<p>@collegiatedreams and others, is this some other program then the stanford EPGY? From what I heard you need certain test scores but beyond that it really is open to anyone.
I went to CTY last and it was great, although not as challenging as I would hope COSMOS to be.</p>
<p>@userofcc No, we are talking about EPGY at Stanford. This thread, however, is for COSMOS, but we decided to see what other programs we all applied to.</p>

<p>userofcc: We are talking about the EPGY Summer Institutes at Stanford. I have straight A’s (4.0 UW) with 5 AP’s this year, 2180 SAT score, etc. and was still wait listed. My stats aren’t they best, but they are solid, I think. So it’s definitely isn’t a program that is just open to anyone with decent test scores.</p>
