well for ucsc i got a email saying it would come out on the 29th

did anyone get the survey thingy? about application?
should we fill it out?

I got the survey thing. I might do it if I have time.
You guys do realize today is the 21st of april, right? Results aren’t until next week…

This waiting period is horrible! I want to know already… ;/
I was reading the thread from last year and some people said that they got their notifications in the mail and others got it by email.
The only specific thing I know is that results are posted online by next thursday, but will we be getting mail or emails as well?

yeah i already filled out that survey, i dont think it really matters though

Does anyone know if each university accepts on preference to the applicant’s area? For example, would UCSD give priority to someone living in San Diego versus someone living in San Fransisco?

I don’t think so. I checked the UCDavis page and it said application notifications will be mailed out by April 26. I want to know so bad!!

At least some acceptances are out. My daughter received an acceptance letter from UC Davis via US mail today.

It said they accepted 200 out of 675 applications.

My daughter also got an acceptance letter from UC Davis.
She’s in the Biotechnology cluster.
Anyone else in Biotech?

I think Davis mailed out everyone’s acceptance or rejection letter already.

I also got one from Davis, I got into the physics in electro-optics, 2nd choice. Guess I wasn’t good enough for biotech. =/

Surprisingly, a large amount of people that I know got rejected.

congratz, to everyone who has been accepted so far.

is UCSC sending an acceptance letter or are we getting an email?

i want to know already!
ahhh.

i don’t want to know anymore

Got accepted into UC Davis’s Physics in Electro-optics cluster, congrats/good luck to everyone else!

lol why not nikelove

they just said i was waitlisted… how hard it is to get in now??

they said i was waitlisted at ucsd so do you guys know if its hard to get in if you’re waitlisted?

depends on where u are on the waitlist cuz they only give u admission if someone decides not to go…which is likely if people applied to multiple summer programs. i got into tensegrity structures at ucsd.first choice:) anybody else in that?

okay should i ask them how far i am down in the waitlist?
congrats!!
