<p>did you put a second and third choice? molec bio revolution is a pretty popular one so more people applied for it. i think if u put a second or third and said ur okay with any other cluster as well, then you have a decently high chance of getting in.</p>

<p>i am so so so so super excited haha. it was actually my third choice, but i would’ve loved doing any other cluster</p>
<p>did we actually need physics for the bright ideas cluster? and did anybody get into the kinetics / engineering cluster? a ton of people applied for that one</p>
<p>grats to everybody else who got in! and whoever got waitlisted, don’t lose hope yet! it’s completely possible to still get in. my brother had a friend who got waitlisted at stanford, and he ended up getting in! so don’t lose hope yet</p>

<p>nothing much really, 4.0 unweighted, good recs (i think), aime, science bowl. i think its the essays and the recs that really get you in.</p>

<p>haha my stats were pretty bad imo.
i had a 4 B’s on my transcript that weren’t changed to A’s in time for the cosmos deadline. Those B’s + my horrible first semester of junior year = 3.7ish unweighted GPA</p>
<p>I think my essays were pretty good though; I spent quite some time writing them…</p>
<p>nevertheless, it shows that you wait-listed people shouldn’t lose hope! Especially if you have a better GPA than mine</p>
<p>and a lot of people got into exploring the cosmos o_O that was my first choice cluster and my friend got into that too</p>
<p>I wasn’t accepted to UC Davis. Of course I applied to Biomedical Sciences and Chemistry of Life so it was to be expected.
I had a 4.17 GPA, but I think what ruined me was that I had a C+ in Honors Trig first semester.

there were 200 applicants for biotech and 18-20 get in, so i’m very happy :)</p>
