UCSC Cluster 3: Under the Sea

alright good luck!

does anyone know the rate of people who get off the waitlist at cosmos in all 4 campuses? is it around 20%, 30%?

wow i got in!

Does anyone know if all of those who were waitlisted must have been contacted already?

I know that at UC Davis, you have until June 1st to pay the full fee. So, My guess would be that if not paid, your slot would open to the waitinglist.

hey guys… just wondering and tell the truth is it not as great if a rising senior goes to cosmos? i heard it wont really go any good, and i want your guys’ imput on this.

well college wise its not like tasp but it is still semiselective. but good time/education wise it doesn’t really matter what grade you’re in. every1 becomes frends and theres not rlly a big age divide.

thanks . . . which site are you? im at san diego

Who got accepted to COSMOS at UC Davis?

i did (cluster 2)

I got accepted too; I’m in Cluster 7. :D

Did anyone get accepted to cluster 4

oh sorry i just got ur question. i think it was for me anyways. wel i went last years to sant cruz

Hello I know no one is probably threading anymore but I have to say something. I applied to Cosmos Ucsd as an 8th grader going to freshman. Sadly I was rejected but then I realized a possible reason for my rejection. I made mistakes all over my application and you don’t really want to now what the mistakes are. I was wondering if my mistakes on my application could affect me in the future whether or not I apply to same campus site or a different one. Then after my situation I got myself into a another isue. I enlisted in one of the upward bounds in SDSU. Since upward bound isn’t a selective program I assume it doesn’t have the prestige as RSP and Cosmos. I really like this UB but if I were to dicth it for another prestigious program(at least ditch the summer component) would it look negatiely on the college resume(lack of commitment for example). Also I would like to know houw Upward Bound can be good on a resume.

im bumping this thread. im applying this year and forgot whether you had to submit your SAT score. does anyone remember? hopefully i can get in this year as ive raised my gpa by a ton…,…
