Cost of admissions

So I’m a little worried about college aids since although UF’s cost of admissions for academics $6,310 but the total cost for the first year is $20,590. I did my CSS and Financial Aid for UF but only have been granted around $6,000. I’m in the IB program so if I pass IB I’ll get the Bright Future scholarship and if I don’t I can get the 75% one but $20,590-$6,000= $14,590 and I’m afraid I won’t pass IB so that leaves it for the 75% Bright Future scholarship. I’m not exactly sure how I will pay for the rest. My parents will not pay for me. I applied for other scholarships but I’m not sure I’ll be awarded.

If you’ve been accepted to UF, please contact your Financial Aid advisor. See the following link:

It’s very difficult affording UF without some support from your parents. If your family income is low, you may get awarded grants, work study and student loans (and Bright futures). However, if your parents income is too high, you may only be offered a limited amount of loans (and Bright Futures). Work with your advisor.
