Interesting Weski. Someone once told me that around one cent of our tax dollar goes to these academies. Don't know if that is true or not but if it is, thanks everybody!

that can't be true.

The Federal Budget is about $2.8 trillion dollars. One percent of $2.8 trillion is $28 billion. the USNA budget is about $200 million, West Point's is about $350 million, KP's is about $65 million. I don't know what CGA or USAFA's budgets are, but even if the Air Force is spending half a $ billion on their country club in the rockies and CGA is spending $100 million on their yatch club. It's still less than $2 billion. Which is less than 1/10th of one cent.

LOL! I'll be sure to tell my source that. Makes perfect sense to me. She'll be so put out by my new knowledge. Thanks for the jump start. She's so political & is always trying to debate me so I love having some fuel to add to the fire. Fun & games! Weeeee! Don't forget, I'm blonde. Don't ever ask directions..... :)
