<p>I'm sure that this has been asked before, so i apologize in advance. I just got home from doing a show and I have SAT I's tomorrow - i have a really bad virus (REALLY bad) and am coughing a ton, i am pretty sure that i wont be allowed to have cough drops during the test (since we arent even allowed to drink water), but i really dont know what to do - i am sure that i will distract everyone else in the room with my coughing. would it be possible to have a cough drop during the test?? or be able to take small sips of water if i put it away right after i took a sip? i dont know what to do, please help! ( i know there was a thread a while ago about cough drops lowering your score, but the ones i take are natural and dont have alcohol or anything, just fyi) thank you so much!</p>
<p>i think there no problem reagrding your cough drop conundrum. i was chewing gum through out the whole test, and the proctor didn't say a word. but i dont know about water. we were told to put away "everthing", yes including water bottles. but don't worry, theres a break. you can drink some water during that. gl!</p>
<p>A cough drop is probably fine. Even if it wasn't, I highly doubt that the proctor would say anything, especially since you're really sick.</p>
