Could anything happen? Accepted but may take a "W" this semester

I may take a W in Calc this semester rather than a D or F. I may be able to get a C but I'm not sure at this point.

What do think about this and/or the possible outcomes?

A W is better than F. I doubt you’ll get your acceptance rescinded.

I’m surprised you’re allowed to take a W this late in the semester, but yes it looks better to W.

I was going to say what Knights09 said. Most schools have a deadline (sometime in late March during spring semester) by which you must drop a class in order to receive a W. Double check to make sure you can withdraw, or else you will definitely get an F (dropped classes after the deadline are still graded). Good luck!

You need to contact your transfer college and ask. If it is a pre-req it could be a bigger problem than if it is an elective. Some colleges like the UCs tend to have a lot of restrictions that could lead to being rescinded for dropping or getting a W. So in the end, what we say here on the forums means nothing–call your transfer college and ask.
