Could I get in?

<p>Hi all, I visited Wesleyan recently and it is by far my favorite school. I'm probably going to apply ED I in the fall. If anybody could chance me, that'd be great.</p>

<p>White Male, from Brooklyn New York
3.58 GPA (3.41 freshman, 3.75 sophomore, planning to finish junior year with a high 3.8/low 3.9, so I have a good upward trend)</p>

<p>SAT's: 2160 (700 M, 700 CR, 760 WR)
SAT II's: 750 Physics, 730 Math II</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
-Founder and Head of school's Bike Club, helped raise over $500 for bike education classes and also lead bike rides almost every weekend in the city
-Editor of Literary Magazine
-Writer for school newspaper
-Writing a senior thesis on David Foster Wallace starting this summer that goes on for all of senior year. Ends with a 45+ page paper
-Taking online classes on Special and General Relativity with Physics professor Brian Greene
-Competitive Biker (Ride about 125+ miles a month, occasional races)
-Teach skateboarding lessons to young kids (from 8-12 years old)
-Was on the committee to choose future president of my school, only 4 kids on it out of about 500
-Planning on submitting artwork (photography) that won awards at school
-Honor Roll freshman year, high honor roll sophomore and definitely junior years</p>

<p>Summers:
-spent a month in Argentina doing community service and staying with family
-working this summer as a waiter
-internships at a writing non-profit organization
-other community service stuff and random trips etc.</p>

<p>Class load next year (my class doesn't offer AP's):
-English: Writing the Short Story (1st semester), Political Writer in Exile (2nd semester)
-Spanish: Spanish Composition Through the Media (year)
-Math: Advanced Calculus (year)
-Science: Principles of Engineering and Design
-History: US since 1945 (1st), Nietzsche, Freud and Sartre (2nd)
-Other: Physical Applications of Calculus, Photography</p>

<p>My S got in four years ago with pretty much the same GPA as you, weaker ECs and only 30 more SAT points. He did apply ED which helps alot.
I think you’re in good shape.</p>
