Could I get into Colgate?

Hi,
I’m wondering what my chances are of getting into Colgate university.
1440 SAT – I’m retaking this saturday
3.96 GPA (my school doesn’t weight their gpa, but I’m taking 2 honors first semester this year and 3 second, probably 2 or 3 each semester. Also, honors are the highest classes at my school. I’ve only taken them this year (junior) because my old school didn’t offer them.,)
Classes so far:
All the required classes (Us history, etc.)
Spanish I
Spanish 3
Spanish 2H – my old school’s spanish program was not as challenging as my current school, so even though I skipped spanish 2, I got moved “back” to 2h this year.

Algebra 2
Precalc
Precalc H – same issue as spanish. My current school’s precalc is SUPER hard so I have to take it again.

Biology
Physics
Chem

2 years of regular english (all my old school offered; just basic standard english stuff)
Shakespearean literature (one of the hardest classes at my current school)

This summer, I’m hoping to either take spanish or calc so I can move ahead a class level next year.

Extracurriculars:
Lots of mountain bike races (best finish 3rd place), involvement building trails and running local races.
Designed website for local mountain bike race.
Rock climbing
Quiz bowl
Mountain climber (this is my biggest passion, I’m going to peru to climb technical 6000meter peaks (20,000ft) this summer)
School rubiks cube club
Skiing (I’m doing ski mountaineering races (basically a combination of cross country and downhill) this winter)

Also, my sister is going to colgate, and both of my parents, my uncle, my grandfather, and my great-uncle are alumni.

What do you think? How are my chances of getting in?

While no one holds a crystal ball and I do not have special insight into the workings of their admissions office, you look like a very competitive candidate academically with interesting extracurricular activities that suggest you would be active in campus activities like the outdoors club, and you have a rich family history with the college. All good signs!

if you can be in the upper half of the median, you have higher chance. check the class profile. http://www.colgate.edu/admission-financial-aid/first-year-class-profile
