Then you will learn what’s involved and what the current standards are for each one so you an apply to a safety/likely/reach list of colleges.

Colgate is one of the nation’s most highly selective colleges, so there’s nothing unusual with respect to its being out-of-reach for a given college aspirant, but I’m afraid this would apply to you, @SailorSays.

You mentioned elsewhere you were interested in engineering. There is no engineering at Colgate.

While many schools offer 3-2 engineering options, the reality is very very few actually do it.

Regarding combined engineering programs (3-2, 2-1-1-1), I’ve seen stats in which a few students from a given LAC might participate in a single year. Based on this, I’d say these programs represent significant opportunities for interested students.
