Additional Info:
Essays: If you want to read some (?) I could send them to you. They are I would say not mind-blowing. For the Common App I wrote about how my eccentric chemistry teacher's passion for her work has inspired me to develop my own interests. For Princeton's supplement I picked a really cool quote and also talked about my interest in world affairs.
Teacher Recs: They were good. One told me I was in the top 3 he's had in 34 years of teaching history...the other said top 5 in 19 years.
Guidance Rec: Very good. He told me that it was his mission to get me into an Ivy League school
Interviews: Have so far gone over well
School: Public, rural, sends few to Ivy League, small
Ethnicity/etc: White male

I think this pretty much sums up my entire life, lol...anyways, I applied to the following schools. If you could leave any comments or anything about my chances I would really appreciate it :)

Harvard
Yale (EASC - Deferred)
Princeton
U Penn
Brown
Duke
Washington U (St. Louis) - Lien Scholarship
USC - General Scholarships
Case Western

Thanks!

10% chance like everyone else. Make it past first cut, but no significant hook

You'll get into ann ivy, who knows about hyp.

You will get into a good college i know that which one? not sure but u definetly have the potentiaL. By the way where in ORange county did u used to live..i practically live there(communicating and dreaming by ways of cross country but yah ive spent almost every summer since i was little and my parents went a few times b4 i was born!) so yah ive been around soCal a lot...

All of your stats mean nothing. Are your parents rich? That is what matters.

for real? I lived in Los Alamitos...a suburb on the outskirts of Orange County (right next to Long Beach)...Seal Beach is kinda located there (where they filmed American Pie 2). Thx for replying so fast all of you guys, btw...I really appreciate it :)

same as everyone else...

OP has atleast a 30% for HYP.

I'm surprised you got deferred to Yale though. Your application is much stronger than someone else I know who got deferred to Yale.

stats look "average" to other applicants to those top schools (great overall, but compared to rest, no obvious hook). so same chance as others i think

Harvard 10%
Yale 15%
Princeton 15%
Penn 50% (much harder RD)
Duke 60%
Brown 60%
Washington STL 90%
USC 95%
Case Western 100% (safety)

if you aren't showing interest at Wash U, you will most definitly be waitlisted, they won't accept you because they know that you would choose an ivy league over them. i think you're in at brown, hyp I have no idea, i think you're in at USC, and you're obv in at case western, penn apps went up a lot this year so you have a shot i just don't know how good, prob good, and duke I don't know anything about.

Thx so much you guys :)...Here's hoping for thick envelopes on April 1st (ironically enought, my birthday)...
