Could I get into NYU?

Hi there! I'm currently a sophomore in high school with great desire to attend NYU. I love everything about New York, and I really want to move there after graduation. I haven't taken the SAT yet, but I took the PSAT and I scored a 164 on that. I had a 4.0 GPA freshman year, and a 3.5 GPA this year. So far, I have taken eight honors classes and I am taking three AP's next year.

The following are a list of my current extracurricular activities:
- Hospital volunteer for almost two years
- Zoo volunteer starting this summer
- Co-president of Teens for Teens, a club dedicated to helping homeless youth from Los Angeles get food and shelter, and the likes of that.
- Member of speech and debate
- Member of student council
- Intern with Wendy Greuel, a municipal American politician
- Intern with WriteGirl, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping young girls in the Los Angeles area publish their writing work

I'm planning on studying a lot this summer for the SAT and next year to do well in my AP classes.

For those of you who know anything about the university, let me know what you think my chances are of getting into the school! Thank you in advance!
