Could I run into problems transferring credit?

I’m transferring to a new university this fall - I’ve already been admitted, deposited, etc.

But - I’m wondering if I might run into problems transferring credit in. This semester, I’m taking ten classes spread out over two colleges, my home university and a CC where I’m classified as a “visiting student.” As far as I know, I followed all the financial rules about dual enrolling, and I only have aid at one. But I didn’t get permission from my university, because I wasn’t planning on transferring credit back to it. Plus, I couldn’t have gotten the okay anyway.

I’m wondering now if the university I’m transferring to might deny me the credit from the CC classes because I didn’t get permission… It’s 18 credits of pre-reqs that I would rather not take again. I think I’m in the clear because it’s a public university and I didn’t technically need to get permission because I’m not transferring credit back to my first university.

Thoughts? I’m probably just worrying about nothing, right?

I mean for starters it probably has to do with what the classes ARE. Whether they’d be transferable or not to begin with.

You’d probably be better off calling the college directly and asking them. It’s too vague for us to know the answer to.

The CC classes are all directly transferable, I checked and that was one of the main reasons I went ahead and did it. I know they’ll transfer on the class level. I just don’t know if I’m likely to run into problems on an administrative “wait, you did what?” level.

But yeah, I get it’s vague. Just didn’t know if anyone else had any experience with this.
