I am looking to apply to UCLA, University of Minnesota, University of Washington, UBC, and University of Victoria. I have relatives in Vancouver so UBC is my top choice.

I am currently a junior in high school and I will be applying to colleges next year.
I am a full time student in a PSEO program at a local college, Bethany Lutheran.
I took the ACT's as a high school sophomore and only got a 25.
Because I didn't study for them I am retaking them along with my SAT's.
My gpa is 3.5 and I am a biology major.

Thank you so much :)

I know some of these are a stretch but I just recently decided to go into medicine and before this semester I didn’t pay enough attention to my grades. I am confident I can get a better score on my ACT. I am interested in other colleges such as UCSD if anyone thinks of a better fit for a pre-med student.

First off, your ACT/GPA is too low. You need to raise them both.
Secondly, do you have any ECs?

I don’t know UW, UBC, or Vancouver, but I would say a “maybe” for Minnesota and a “no” for UCLA.

I shadowed a doctor a few times.
I am volunteering at a hospital this summer.
I also did a Youth in Government program.

I don’t think the doctor shadowing will make too much of a difference, but the other two sound good. I would suggest getting more involved in your school, and taking as many advanced/AP classes as you can.

I am in a PSEO program. All the classes I take are at a college.
