I have sent in my common application and assigned my counselor. I can not see what my counselor has written or the documents asked and sent. If the counselor makes a mistake in the common application, say a mistake in school information and not sending the international school supplement, and submits the counselor evaluation and school reports, what may be the consequence? Can the counselor contact CommonApp and fix the error?

Your counselor has the power to upload any documents that they want to send so if they have forgotten anything they can still send it. Probably the school will contact the counselor to tell them if something is missing since your counselor’s school email is included in your app.

Also, once your application reaches the school they will contact you either by email or snail mail to tell you how to track the information being received on your application. They will give you an ID number and tell you how to create an account in their system.

If after a week or so you have not heard from the school that they have received your common app then contact them and check, along with any other questions on forms they are still needing.
