Yeah I'll be documenting this entire weekend with my camera. Fun times.

If you see potter try and snap a picture or two. She hid from webguy all summer long. Being a small target make that easy for her too.

2 days...19 hours....

I didn't hide, he just put his camera away every single time I got near because I was alway at the very back of the flight!!!! But you didn't have to see my BCG's in picture form so it wasn't too bad not being photographed.

Well I do have that picture from doolie day out.....

Oh, ds you need to post that!!! I'm sure Potter still looks cute even with her BCG's! Rumor has it that Nico, the blogging cadet will soon be free to roam about and get some close-ups to prove to us all that cadets actually do survive BCT! I can't wait to see everyone!

Tomorrow Recognition starts and I'm not going to lie... I'm terrified. But the important thing I think to remember is that we're not going into this alone. I just called a meeting in my room with all the freshmen in my squad and we talked about how much we need to remember this is a team effort. Some are going to be good at knowledge and some are going to be physical beasts... That's just how it goes. Everyone needs to offer their strengths and remember that this is a team effort. It's not about looking good... If you can do 100 perfect pushups without breaking but the person next to you is dying, it doesn't make you look good. It's about being a team. It's about going through it together and finishing together. You 2012ers will learn this in basic and it's important to remember it going into the ac year. My squad is an amazing team, but most squads get consumed with their own lives after basic and forget how important it is to stick together and support eachother. I almost cried just now talking to my classmates because we have become so close, and you will be proud and honored to go through Recognition with them. Earning our prop and wings is going to be a team effort. Never leave anyone behind and remember to work hard for your teammates... that's the conclusion that we all came to tonight. Good luck to my classmates and I will talk to you guys on the other side!!! WITH PROP AND WINGS!!!!!!!!

wow, its good to see that someone form the class of 2011 learned that this year. its going to be a field day at my place :)

get up for it, hooah!?!

hooah! :) Agreed.

I perfectly agree with you, redhead. :)

"I'm goin' deep". See ya'll on the other side...

Red, we just had the exact same meeting in my squadron. It definitely won't be easy, but it'll be worth it. (...and besides, "being hard is what makes it great," am I right?) :)

i'll tell you what's not great... reading the 100+ page OPORD word for word. darn major training events staff (but i know every detail about this year... mwa ha ha)

Get up for it!

Teamwork and hard work are what get you though. Each person has something to give, and something they need help with.

good luck!

you guys have shown us that there is an end to it all and that it doesn't last forever like it must sometime feel.

Thanks man. We'll all be seeing you the other side.....and then its your turn..haha. But we'll be there if you ever need anything. Until prop and wings..seya all later.

CDK did you see anything special on spirit hill today?

Well. My squad's freshmen are not going to enjoy tonight. My roommate and I have been very angry all week because every time we come back to our room, it just feels like we're getting PUNK'D because we keep receiving bad news. Unfortunately, tonight will be a night of venting and release. I feel bad for my freshmen but.. it's going down tonight. Good luck 2011!
