Countdown to 2012 Recognition

this side of the fence is nicer, but definetely less sleep! (although i guess a small part of the problem is being on CC and posting after 0000 MST)

Hornet finally got me to do some flutter kicks. The unfortunate part was I had to do the flutter kicks under my sheet. I definitely learned the value of team work this weekend. Its amazing the transition we have gone through in just nine months.

As a side note to 2013, if you can avoid, don't have your roommate break his wrist the week before recognition because it could make things a little more difficult. If something like that does happen, you will be amazed at how much someone will push themselves with only one arm. :)

Flutter kicks under your sheets? Recognition just became that much more confusing...

They make you do pushups, flutterkicks, or "mole" in your bed to destroy it. It forces you to stay up longer and remake it because you won't have time to the next morning.

lol Nobility. We were all impressed with your room mate. Despite having that broken wrist, couldn't tell he was injured. Never seemed to inhibit his ability to participate. Well done on his part. Only bad part was how long it took yall to get dressed because of his wrist. Even so, you STILL beat some people out! lol Good times.

I just slept for 16 hours.... wow

i should have. i stayed up until 0400 then had church this morning. poor planning on my part!

Being sick may have had something to do with it, but it sure felt good considering I got about 15 minutes of sleep from friday night to saturday

thanks for telling them my forum name hornet haha, they had fun with that during recognition lmao

Wait wait, I don't remember telling anyone your forum name? Who was having fun with it?! We have a SPY! lol

oh geez, now im scared!!

hahaha

Also thanks Hornet for organizing Eagle to come pay me a visit. I did find it kind of funny that Eagle did not know how to count properly. ;)

^^^^^Ahahahahahahahaha.

ok children, let's count:

one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen, etc.

it doesn't go 10, 11, 12, 12, 12, 12, 12, 12, 12... haha. now Nobility, you're lucky i had to get back to my squad to make sure things were running smoothly, or we would've started over until you could get to 14 ;)

hahhahaahaha

we did that alot

I was struck by the plague (aka mono) right before the festivities started, so I spent recognition dying slowly on top of my SAMI bed. It feels really strange not to have gone through it! I'm proud of everyone who did, I saw my roommate go through it, and was so impressed, she got a whole flock of prop and wings to show for it!

Yeah, it sucks, but don't worry about it. You did well during 4 dig year.
...and you looked like death on Friday, so all the upperclassmen knew you were really sick.

I did look like death... I got scared when I looked in the mirror! You saw me?

buckaroo (HRG), guess you didn't realize you were in the Dogs with raimius did you? ;)

I feel you buckaroo, I did Thursday and Friday of recognition, but then I got so sick they took me to the clinic to get an IV because it was the only way to hydrate me and I was so dehydrated I couldn't sit up for more than a couple minutes
