<p>Recognition is the final test of 4 dig year. It's the Capstone.
You really push yourself to the limits (often beyond where you thought they were). It was an important experience for me...kind of like finally getting to the top of a mountain. </p>
<p>As buckaroo said, if you know you did a good job throughout the year, Recognition isn't vital. It is a good capstone to nicely close out the four degree experience. Every year, some 4 digs miss Recognition due to illness, injury, or IC sports events (for some reason the NCAA doesn't plan for Recognition :confused: ). That is unfortunate, but it's not the end of the world.</p>
