Countdown to 2013 Decisions!

Here's a thread to talk help pass time during the wait. Post about things that are happening in your life, what you're doing to pass time, news from boarding school and really anything to help pass the time.

This got me so excited! I have play rehearsal up until the end of february, so I expect the time will start flying as we get closer to opening night, meaning that it’ll be March
10th before I know it!
50 Days!

Nervous as well!!

Oh man! Please dont do the “count down” thing. I will feel like as long as hell. Just relax! Hang out with your friends or so… time should fly then

48 days till March 9th!!

Let’s start a list of notification dates/times
Choate: March 10th 9 AM
Hotchkiss: March 9th ?AM/PM

That’s all I know so far.

Between select orchestra, my school’s art show, and academics, I have a feeling time will fly for me as well :-)

Hotchkiss: March 9th AM
St.Paul’s:March 9th AM

Ah! March 9 now? O_O While I’m at classes?!

Not counting days-it makes it seem longer than it actually is

Choate: March 10th 9 AM
Hotchkiss: March 9th AM
St.Paul’s:March 9th AM
Exeter:March 10th 6 AM (I think?)

I’m applying for 9th grade, how bout you guys?
Currently I’m munching on some free trade chocolates I got from Emma Willard… (Did anyone else get those?)

I’m applying for 9th grade as well  And I didn’t apply to Emma Willard, so I wouldn’t know. But, mhmm, chocolate.

Considering whether or not to blockade my e-mail account from March 8 - March 11. Yes or no?

We got the Emma Willard chocolates too! Yummy. If the offered ice hockey, my daughter might have applied —

Am i the only one applying for 10th grade?
Choate: March 10th 9 AM
Hotchkiss: March 9th AM
St.Paul’s:March 9th AM
Exeter:March 10th 6 AM
Andover: March 10th (I’m pretty sure)

You’re the only one who posted on this thread so far  Thanks for the dates!

Haha, we didn’t apply or even ask for info, but we got the chocolates! (It was a big box. YUM.)

Aww. I wish an alll guys school sent me choclate. Even though all of my applications have been sent, I cannot stop thinking about my chances of getting admitted. I feel as if i have a good chance, but it really depends on how rigorous the applicant pool is this year. To help time go by I am cleaning my house and reading books. They are both very time consuming and keep my mom happy.

Isn’t everything from now on left on chance? It’s a roll of the die, the toppling of the chips, a shuffle of cards. The Joker pops up mischievously, raking up our hopes on slim odds and then stifling them.

But I hope you all are content with the results of this application cycle!

AmbiD77: no you aren’t the only one! I’m applying for 10th grade too

So what are you guys going to do to lessen the wait?
