<p>i got a letter from usc today ! </p>
<p>unfortuneatly, not THAT letter. the letter said they were missing my personal statement. !! i cannot believe they lost my freaking personal statement! i freaking hand delivered it along with the rest of my app (all in one pile). so i'm faxing it in... if the freaking "encoded cover sheets" every print from my stupid computer.</p>
<p>grrrr. if their incompetance stops me from being considered for a scholarship i am going to be furious.</p>
<p>My sense is they have some organizational issues.</p>
<p>They lost a few of my items, as well...the only school that did. But they are timely about letting you know they've recieved stuff and/or...not :P. Haha. It took some of my other schools a month to say they got my app. </p>
<p>Is there some geographic divide in notification time? I.e. the guy from Dubai might not get his letter until mid Feb., but people from Cali might get them tomorrow? Or is it more, "we did this app first" or "this batch was strongest"?</p>
<p>yeah, after i set up a gateway account and downloaded the personally encrypted fax coversheets i sent in all my stuff. hopefully the papers will go straight into my file. good news is they received my test scores and transcript and have already reviewed them (my grades and scores are both very strong).<br>
hopefully we'll still hear in not too long...</p>

<p>oh my, i am so ****ed that they lost my stuff. i faxed it all in last night but... !! am i no longer going to be considered for a scholarship since they didnt receive everything by dec 11? (i turned in the stuff but they lost it...)

<p>im pretty sure Admissions has already processed the things i faxed in on friday night (i LOVE my parents right now for having home businesses and therefore owning a fax machine). my gateway account says- documents received and reviewed:
-academic history
-SAT/ACT score
-High school transcript
-personal statement activity sheet
-transcript: P******* High School
-secondary school report</p>
