Countdown to Letters: 2011

Really depends on where you’re at.

I will probably get mine within the week after M10 because I’m in Canada and probably you will too. People who live in countries such as South Africa or Kazhaskstan(other countries along those lines too, may have to wait a bit longer

They send them out at the same time but it depends on location and the weekday when they arrive. It’d be most accurate to call your local post office and ask them when to expect a letter mailed priority from the East Coast on March 9th or 10th.

The letters are probably heading to the post office…

oh god…so nervous…that means my letter is inside the envelope just waiting for me to rip it open.

Will any schools mail prior to M10 so we can recieve it exactly on M10?

Most of them do, I think, although I’m not quite sure about international applicants.

To think, in less than 36 hours I’ll receive an email from Exeter…

ahh, I can’t believe it’s so close!! I’ve been waiting so long… I hope I’m a future Choatie :D

Approx 24 hours to PEA email notices! If anyone hears, please post.

NMH posted today.

If I’m correct, the Exeter email comes out at 6:30am (Eastern Time). This means that in 23 hours and approx. 15 minutes, I will be getting that email :)

Oh gosh I hope I did the math right. I’m too excited to think straight today.

Did Exeter say that it sends out emails tomorrow morning? And the emails go to parents? Through the whole admission process, I (the parent) have not gotten any emails from the school (I get emails from them as an alum, but nothing related to my kid’s application – all that has gone to her). Have other parents heard directly from the school prior to this? Thanks for any info. I need something new to worry about, since I’m getting tired about worrying about the phone ringing with the courtesy rejection (got one of those a few years ago with older kid).

I don’t understand why I am worried too. No matter what, my daughter is still the best!!

Boy I haven’t been on this forum for a really long time…

Decisions are coming out in only 24 hours approx.!!! When I look back at the posts from before, they were all, ‘Only 63 etc. days!!’ Sigh.

Look at the time people… Time really flies. It truly does.

I’m going to be going to sleep in half an hour. Decisions will come out 6 hours after I wake up. That’s going to be here before I know it.

I trust that many(MANY!) of you will be receiving acceptance letters. I can tell.

Guys, whatever there is in your package in 24 hours approx., we are all better than other students. Think of all the other students in the world. We are already better than most of them, especially those of you who have worked with charities and non-profit organizations, or those of you who’ve received national awards, etc.! I wish all of you the best of luck, however. I hope to see some of you next year!

Don’t be nervous. Wait… Be patient. And don’t be too surprised at the decisions…

Fingers crossed!

So weird to know that in less than 24 hrs, so many people will be super excited, some will be heart broken. Good luck to ALL!

unfortunately bronxkid, you probably have it backwards.

Breath in, breath out. Gah!!!

I decided to look at my decisions altogether on the 11th, but when I checked my email this morning, I found my first decision letter and it was a wait list at my safety school…now I’m starting to worry…

You got it guys…Almost there. I feel like each year I will always remember the thousands of applicants applying for boarding schools on March 10th for the rest of my life.

Good Luck!!!

I’m so nervous!!! I’m dying for tomorrow afternoon!!

is anyone absolutely sure that Exeter will email decisions at 6am tomorrow?
