<p>It was the 22nd last year and 23rd the year before if I’m remembering everything correctly. I read somewehere that it’s a tradition for it to be the third Friday or the Friday of the third week of March. I’m hoping it’s this Friday.</p>

Class of 2017 - 3/22 (Friday) - 5pm Rice time, 6pm EST
Class of 2018 - 3/21 (Friday) - 5pm Rice time, 6pm EST (me guessing)</p>

<p>Every school’s been releasing their decisions on Fridays, which is such a pain because I go into work at 5 pm on Fridays, meaning I can’t check until around 11 that night. </p>

<p>My friends got her ED acceptance either through a direct email or an emailed link to her letter, since she showed me on her phone’s mailbox. But she’s international so it might be a little different for domestic.</p>

<p>@TarheelOwl @matrixsurgeon and others: just wanted to point out that March 22nd and March 23rd were the 4th Fridays in March in their respective years. March 21st is the 3rd Friday. So… it’s quite possible we’ll be waiting until March 28, which would be the 4th Friday this year… (hope not, but it could well be…)</p>

<p>I bet you it’ll be the 24th, which is Monday. That’s how it was for ED decisions this yr. Historically it’s three weeks into the month in December, but this year there were only two weeks before that Friday. So, they moved it to Monday. I bet it’s the same for regular decision admissions.</p>
<p>Has anyone called admissions and asked? Would they tell us?</p>

<p>If it’s any consolation at least we’ll hear from UCLA this Friday, confirmed by their admission blog; Northwestern, too since their final ends this week and they don’t wanna announce after the break.</p>
