Countdown to the October 2012 SAT Results

650 RC
240 Math
800 Writing (12 Essay)

International Test

M: 770 (damn curve only missed one q)
CR: 760 (eek I dropped 20 pts)
W: 800 (80/10)
—> 2330

Should I retake to get above 2350? Or will collees b like ***? Also do they superscore?

Day of bitterness staaartttsss…NOW

I meant to say that a 79/9 is a 780, not a 680.

Is it realistic to aim for a 2350 next time if I got:
660 CR
770 M
780 W

I’m super happy!

2400!! (but a 10 on the essay)

This was my first time taking it as a junior, but I studied a lot (I look a prep course over the summer) and learned around 1500 vocab words independently since my PSAT last winter.

My diagnostic score to my prep course was a 2100 and it was about 4 weeks long. I contribute my success almost solely to this prep course, so if anyone has any questions about improvement feel free to ask, though I do not want to give away my course’s specific technique b/c it is patented haha and I honestly would feel very guilty for doing so, knowing that they helped me so much :)

Didn’t do well:
CR: 800
Math: 770
Writing: 650 with 8 essay (freakkkk.)

Total: 2220, first time taking it as a junior

The writing killed me, I thought I did really well in that section but I guess not. Hopefully I can bring it up so my super score is in the 2300+ range.

Wow, it appears there were a lot of 2400s this month (five already?). Good work, CC!

Looks like there was a misbubble with my writing score. score dropped 80 points, and last time I didn’t even study. Ughhhhhh this can’t be life. How am I supposed to haul into Columbia?
…And now to face my super strict african mother.

@vballchick24

I had just about the same experience (but with CR being low).

I’m an international student and I’m getting ‘not yet available’.

Can someone help me with this…
On the sat page I see:

10/6/12: Available
Sent to: 0 Recipients

When i click “available” to go see my scores, i don’t find them. The only score i find is that of the June test. Is there something i can do to view my scores? i don’t think it would be delayed because it is “available”

Should I retake and actually study one last time?

I haven’t really studied, I’ve just blindly taken the test twice.

M: 650
CR: 630
W: 630 (essay 8)
total: 1910

ugh. so ashamed of myself. Looks like I’m taking it again in Dec.

CR: 700
Math: 700
Writing: 710

Superscore: 2200. Does anyone know if a 90 point fall in writing will cause immediate rejection? (stupid essay.)

M: 710
CR: 710
W: 690
Total : 2110

Although this is low for wharton, I did my best and am an international student.

Website down for anyone else?

@User 22 I don’t think so… I fell 100 points but idc… I mean as long as you improved somewhere else you’re fine in my opinion.

@ccuser95 yes, the website is down for me too.
