I just took the SAT for the first time. Can anyone tell me how you check your scores online on October 29th?

my cousin missed one on the math on the sat and got a 760. just sayin. this was last year

@ cx1055121526, just login in the account in which you registered for the sat, go to sat registrations and they should be posted there.

I don’t believe any of you claiming these crazy math curves.

-1=750 or -1=760

I’ve never even seen -1=770 on the like 15 official tests i’ve come across (heck, -1=780 is relatively rare). I think the -1 anything less than 780 is only a rumor or misinformation.

Not that it really matters, but -1 for the past few October SATs has been 780, 780, 800, 790.

The Oct Math curve will most likely go something like this:

-1: 780
-2: 750
-3: 730

It would be wonderful to have -1:800 but unfortunately it likely won’t happen. I missed one math problem, perhaps two (gridded-in 667 instead of 666). I am expecting a 2350-2380.

Good luck to everyone.

haha im in kinda the same boat i took the sat
im probably looking at:
math -0
writing -1 with 12 essay (i hope)
reading -2/3/4

there better be a good curve on cr though (seemed ALOT harder than what i was used to)

Does anyone know what math would be with 4 MC wrong and 1 grid in wrong?

I have a bit stupid question - If I have one wrong answer in the math section (so I lost 1.25) what is my raw score? Do they round it up or down (53 or 52 points)? Thanks

They round it up (53). If you have two MC wrong they still round up, and 3 wrong they round down. Assuming all mistakes are MC with no omits.

pozuelo7, good luck to both of us =D

To above: your id is funny :)

What sort of score should come with Math -4 and CR -4 or 5?

Take a look at this website for curves on released exams since 2005. I think it is pretty accurate: http://www.erikthered.com/tutor/SAT-Released-Test-Curves.pdf

11 days 15 hours left!

do we really have access to how many questions we got correct and incorrect?

if we do not, how can a person rightfully claim that he missed one question and got a 760?
in all likelyhood, that person missed ONE question that he was aware of and missed ANOTHER question that he thought he got right.

Mel5140, thanks for that chart; it was really helpful. Gah, I’m just on the border for making 700 M…I really, really need it; I better make that 700 mark!

oh i see.
stixx is a tard.

so then, -1 for a 760 is a possibility ]:

@mifune
Aww, that’s the same math mistake I made =/, hoping its the only one I miss, but that’s highly unlikely.
