COUNTDOWN until Oct SAT scores!

If you ask me every single question on the SAT was ambiguous.

true, but some test takers (even international) might have seen “distance” as simply distance rather than the shortest distance. Its a small difference but crucial in this case. Unless collegeboard has somewhere on their site that distance is the shortest distance possible, it can’t ignore the ambiguity of the question. For example the Fibonacci series can either start at 0 or 1, say they ask you to find the 45th term…

You guys really need to get a life…sorry no offense, but I mean there really is nothing you can do about it.

GO PLAY HALO ODST! WAIT FOR ASSASIN’S CREED 2 TO COME OUT! WRITE YOUR COLLEGE ESSAYS!!

Guys based on your hunches of the curves, can you give me an approximate scaled score for these raw scores?

50 raw points CR

45 Raw points M

35 raw points W (10 essay)

I was wondering because this was my average raw point output during my practices for the test.

8 days!!!

"true, but some test takers (even international) might have seen “distance” as simply distance rather than the shortest distance. Its a small difference but crucial in this case.
By this logic you could argue that many questions on the SAT are ambigious. I mean, if they give you two points (0,0) and (3,4) and ask you to find the distance, is that ambigious?

you could find a curved path distance. As you said, unless collegeboard clearly states that distance is the shortest distance than the distance between those two points could be almost anything. Right? But clearly the SAT is asking for the obvious answer. Pick the best answer, remember? The best answer was clear. In fact, it was the only answer.

8 more days!!!

8 days is still a freaking long time

K_delrosario, your score would be approximated as follows:

CR: 640
M: 670
W: 610

For a total of 1920 or so. But some claim that they do better on the real test than the practice tests due to the importance of the situation.

8 more days sdkfsdkfnjsdfnsdkfsdfds

I am dying to know my score. DYING!!

So I’m confused! I was just on the collegeboard site and it said to visit My SAT after 8am ET. Any idea if the results will be out at 5 or 8 am?

Whatever the case I’ve a strong feeling I’ll be glued to the computer on 29th. Or at least be carrying my laptop with me if I’m out of the house…

2 am PST
5 am EST

It isn’t always exactly at 2am PST right? Every time it varies?

^ Haha, calm down boy. It will be out by the time you wake up. Just set your alarm to 3:00 in the morning.

However, make sure you are awake for longer than 5 minutes. See, your mind, when woken up in the middle of sleep, can only start to move things into your long-term memory after five minutes or so, lest it just melt away into your dreams. This happened to me. I got an 1840, with 560 and 590 in Critical Reading and Math repectively, and I thought it was just a nightmare, or at least until I checked again that morning. :P

i’m getting nervous just thinking of typing in my password for “confirmation” and pressing enter and waiting that split second for the page to load… damn

Even more anticipation if your computer is slow and that split second turns into 2 seconds.

Or when someone accidentally take your desktop’s plug out and you end up waiting for five more minutes

7 MORE DAYS!!! I am so scared my life depends on this score. AH!

haha settle down peruviansinger, i garauntee your life does NOT depend on this one test.
