<p>So, I am currently a running start student and have been so for about 2 years now. But, during the first quarter of my senior year I received grades that i don't usually get, so like lower C's. During the second quarter I basically failed a class and am on the verge of failing the second. This is purely based on the fact that I was taking pretty difficult courses and I had a lot of other things going on; College apps, Scholarships, and the stress of trying to keep up in both classes. Do you think this will affect my admission into UW?</p>

<p>you’re not alone. i have a 3.12 and my SAT’s were really low. but my EC’s and essays are pretty strong.</p>

<p>twoemotions i love you right now. sorry ruto, definately call admissions and see if you can organize an appointment with the dean/admissions/whoever. Much more personal than a letter and you can answer any questions they might have immediately. It also shows initiative which is a very good thing.</p>

<p>rutosai: UW can rescind offers. They do that in the summer after they get your complete transcript. Unfortunately, if they do decide to rescind an offer, that means you’d have to scramble for a new plan of action.</p>
<p>Are there tutoring services at your high school? Are your teachers available for some extra help for any classes you’re struggling with?</p>

<p>Speedsolver: Yea i figured they could, but what if i were to make an appointment with admissions office and explain that this was a really bad time for me to be taking these classes and explain the circumstances, do you think that would help? And i’ve tried tutoring from various sources but i just didn’t have the time to fully commit.</p>
