couple questions about sending SIR

Hey, I would really appreciate it if someone could answer my questions since I just sent my SIR a couple minutes ago. Thank you!

In the part where they ask you to fill out optional information for parents to receive future school events and programs, I accidentally put the wrong graduation date for my sister in the Siblings section, and apparently they didn’t let me correct it. Is this something I should be concerned with or should I just let it go?

I apparently skipped the last 3 steps–

Review and confirm submitted information.
Submit more resident status information, if required.
View final check list.

–because I had panicked and pressed back after what happened in what I asked in #1, but a page came up that said my SIR was already sent. Did I miss anything important in those steps, and am I guaranteed my SIR was sent since I skipped the final step?

Do you receive a confirmation e-mail that your SIR was succesfully sent? I only received the one on the $100 deposit

you send it in before midnight!

i thought about my decision through and through

finally, I decided to send in my SIR

and the website said

Function Unavailable
This function is available 7 a.m. - midnight PST

it was just a little bit past midnight too

WHAT A BUMMER!

Sorry I can't answer your question since I unfortunately can't send out my SIR until tomorrow. I can probably answer your questions tomorrow, but you'll probably have an answer before I do.

LOL. I kind of wish they made Tritonlink a 24/7-accessible tool, but oh well.

wait what?!?! you have to pay $100 deposit with your SIR? i didn't get any of that...

kin3sis,
1. i didn't even put my mom's first name. i don't think it matters.

the "submit more resident info" step just has one button that tells you to confirm your status RESIDENT. i think it's for tuition purpose. but u can easily prove that if you are legal resident/citizen.

i did got an email confirmation immediately. "this is an email confirmation that you have accepted admission to UCSD" short and sweet.

collegekid2007,
yea, i didn't need to pay $100 too. i was at about step 6. i clicked. done. THAT'S IT!? kinda unbelievable. i feel like i missed a step or two. no offense, but i guess that means we're poor. i never had a fee waiver in my life, until now.

SINCE WE'RE ALL DONE. LET'S BE FRIENDS AT SD. I NEED TO FIND FRIENDS! i'm in revelle! :)
