i am a freshmen wondering what courses are generally lightweight and easy for art credit. i finished a lot of my requirements through APs and not sure of what to take to finish out my last art credit. my tentative course schedule does not allow me to take history of jazz or history of rock and roll so those are out the question. Art History was extremely boring last semester, so I do not want to take a course along those lines ever again. two courses that may be of interest are musicianship i and psychology of music. But the course descriptions on both are lacking and I am not sure what either of them entails. Does anyone know if musicianship i requires any previous knowledge of music ? Or what psychology of music even entails? Hope to hear from someone soon. Thanks.

Most ppl who take intro to drawing like it. Also the archaeology course I took was pretty interesting. Also, there are classics and film studies courses you can take to fulfill the requirement also. I also considered taking Greek and Roman drama to fulfill the requirement, but it wasn't offered when i had room for it in my schedule.

I would check the music department's website to find out about musicianship or psychology of music. If it doesn't have information, then email a professor who's taught it in the past or visit the music department.

Psychology of music is supposed to be an amazing class. It's cross listed between the science and music department. I would take it but I have a schedule conflict :(
