Ok so we do course registration during orientation... I was wondering if the course booklet was available online so we could take a look at it before we actually go?

you should have gotten one in the mail

I didn't get one in the mail.

There's a very shortened one that advertises classes in the mail, but it's not the whole course guide at all.

Here's the fall 2008 course guide:

LSA Course Guide

i got something with the orientation package
i didn't read it in too much detail, but i'm pretty sure its a course listing guide.

international kids:

did you guys get the course guide or the orientation packet yet??

blissful, I didn't get anything yet.

Heck, I got my UROP brochure only yesterday!

International Kids - Check courses on the online LSA Course Guide link posted above. The brochure will take time to get time to get here and it isn't comprehensive at all. And don't wait for other stuff in the mail too. If you havn't got your housing contract ask for it to be scanned and mailed/faxed over. You get my drift...

polydenate: i got my UROP brochure only today! what is this UROP -- and is it worth joining given that I'm already in teh honors?

thanks again^^

UROP is only worth it if you want to take part in research.

How do we apply for it?

research? can you give me some examples? what kind of research does it do?

thanks

I'm in engineering, just curious on how to apply for UROP as well as where to get the course guide for freshman in engineering?

Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program, University of Michigan

The application deadline is may 30.
