<p>If I have sophomore standing, will that increase my chances of getting into the classes I want?</p>
<p>If I've taken ten AP tests and got 5's on all of them, do all of them count for units if they are not all related to my major?</p>

<p>Does having an earlier New Student Orientation date increase my chances of getting into classes?</p>

<p>For the last one i remember being right in the middle of the 12 orientation sessions. It wasn’t great lol. It meant that even though more discussion sections were going to be opened for the class i needed were still closed during my orientation session sign-up, because they were reserved for those after me. My advice. Be first in the first half, or be first in the second half of the sessions. On the bright side, orientation session sign up isn’t the final deal. You can still sign up, permitting space in the class you want, in September. I remember having to get 2 GE classes and a CS class, because Eng comp 3 and Math class was full. But in September, I managed to get both Eng Comp 3 and the math class I wanted. Congrats on your acceptance.</p>

<p>Yes, but not during Freshman Orientation because everybody is on the same playing field.</p>

<p>Yes, but talk to College Counselors to make sure that credits transfer from different schools.</p>
