I didn't realize how important course rigor was, and so through junior yea I have only taken 1 honors class and one AP class. Can a tough senior year schedule help remedy this problem? And if so what classes should I take? (My school offers all the AP's) Thanks!

Not at schools that expect ‘the most’ rigorous box to be checked by your school. But the vast majority of schools–those other than the top ones–don’t expect it.

define top schools, my first choices are UCSB and UCD.

The UCs absolutely consider rigor. I’ve seen many kids with 4.0s in CP classes be rejected from the mid tier UCs, so have some good backups and a great SAT score–one above their averages by a good margin, will really help.

Thanks very much for the reply. I’m gonna get all my stats and stuff together and make an official, “Am I screwed thread,” which will maybe allow better/more honest judgment.
