Course Selection--AP Spanish Literature or AP Chem?

Hey everyone,
I am conflicted as to whether I should choose AP Spanish Literature or AP Chem next year.
The thing is, I don’t know what I want to study but I am interested in both business and somethings science-related.
However, I have only one slot left and I do not know which class to choose. For AP Spanish, the pro is that my grades are mostly pretty decent and it is an easy subject for me. I struggled the first semester of freshman year but after that I started consistently getting A’s/A+'s (including in AP Spanish Language)
My counselor at school says a foreign language is very highly recommended for college, and I may need it if I eventually go into business.
On the other hand, I didn’t do as well in Honors Chemistry, and I feel like my lab skills are not exactly stellar. However, I really want to give chemistry another chance, because I love science and I’ve done really well in all my other science courses. Many in our school claim that AP Chem is a killer and often their grades are two letters below what they got in honors, so I’m a little frightened, especially since I’m going to be a senior and I don’t want to get rescinded if I get a bad grade in AP Chem or ruin my college chances in any other way.

Which one should I choose and why?

AP chem was super challenging at my daughter’s school as well. That said, if you have any inclination of going into STEM, that would be my recommendation, especially since you already did AP Spanish language.

Things to think about - what does the rest of your course rigor look like? Chem was a ton of work outside the classroom. Do you have time to tackle that? Would a drop in grade if you took chem do anything major with your GPA or class ranking?

And a D or F in any class could get you rescinded…

It might be helpful to see what your entire course selection for next year is. For most colleges one AP Spanish is fine to fulfill requirements for acceptance. Honors Chem will also fulfill the box for chem (if you are thinking science the recommendation is bio, chem and physics, but which classes exactly are flexible).

What other classes are you thinking of?
Have you taken physics (regular, honors, ap1?)

I have taken Honors sciences @MYOS1634

Ok that’s good.
What about foreign language?
